CAS Participates in Regional Workshop on Enhancing International Trade Statistics

The Central Administration of statistics (CAS), represented by Ms Nadine Saliba, participated in a regional workshop, which brought together experts from 15 Arab countries to discuss ways to improve international trade statistics and support evidence-based policymaking in the region. The workshop held in Amman, was organized in collaboration between UN-ESCWA, the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics (AITRS), the Jordanian Customs, the Jordanian Statistical Institute, and the Statistical Economic, and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESSRIC).

She also serves as Coordinator of Trade Statistics and as Principal National Coordinator of the EU-funded MEDSTAT regional program, fostering international cooperation and overseeing program implementation and effectiveness.
