The Central Administration of Statistics (CAS) in Lebanon partnered with the International Labour Organization (ILO), to implement the follow-up Labour Force Survey (LFS) 2022. The follow-up LFS was conducted by CAS in January 2022 and both financial and technical assistance were provided by the ILO Regional Office for Arab States. It provides up-to-date estimates of a broad array of labour market and demographic indicators concerning the residents of Lebanon at the national and governorate levels. The overall objective of the survey was to rapidly and reliably assess changes in the employment situation in Lebanon resulting from the financial and economic crisis the country has faced, in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic.
