Overview

CAS, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, released today the findings of the 2022 Follow-Up Labour Force Survey in Lebanon. Fully funded and technically supported by the ILO, the survey data collection was conducted between 27 December 2021 and 31 January 2022.The overall objective of this survey is to provide a rapid and reliable assessment of the changes in the employment situation in Lebanon in light of the recent financial and economic crisis faced by the country, in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the first time, data collection was conducted by telephone (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing or ‘CATI’) with direct tablet data entry.
