The Central Administration for Statistics (CAS) together with the World Bank (WB) developed the first Official Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI 2019) for Lebanon using data from the nationally representative Labour Force and Household Living Conditions Survey 2018-2019. Designed to complement monetary measures of poverty, the MPI assesses non-monetary deprivations through 19 indicators across five dimensions: education, health, financial security/well-being, basic infrastructure and living standards.
طوّرت إدارة الإحصاء المركزي مع البنك الدولي أول مؤشر رسمي للفقر متعدّد الأبعاد (MPI 2019) في لبنان باستخدام مسح القوى العاملة والأحوال المعيشية للأسر الذي أجرته بين عامي 2018 و2019. يهدف مؤشر الفقر متعدد الأبعاد في لبنان إلى استكمال المقاييس النقدية للفقر بمقاييس غير نقدية للحرمان، ويرتكز على 19 مؤشراً موزعة على خمسة أبعاد هي التعليم والصحة والأمان المالي والبنية التحتية الأساسية والأوضاع المعيشية للأسر
